My students and I are on a trip with SustEd CR right now. Esteban is doing a phenomenal job for us!! We are lucky to have him organizing our trip; he is constantly looking out for my students and thinking of ways to make our day more safe and pleasurable.

Sustainability Education CR organized a wonderful Christmas trip for my entire family who flew in from Norway and the United States.  They organized excursions from Volcan Arenal to Manuel Antonio that made everyone happy, from the 7 year old to the 54 year old.  We engaged in ziplining, thermal baths, nature hikes, snorkeling, fishing, and swimming in the ocean.  They ensured that we had safe transportation, educational guided tours, and a wonderful overview of the unique biodiversity in Costa Rica.  Our tour lasted two weeks and was organized perfectly!  Everyone agreed this was the best Christmas trip ever!

Dreams can become true. Not when we want, but when it's meant to be. In Costa Rica I've learned to feel Pura Vida. I've also learned to respect coffee and to see the world through the costa ricans eyes.

Experiences for a lifetime: green, small but rich natural and geographical, wild, rainforest, cloud forest, AVATAR, active volcanoes, wild jungle, no Zoo gardens but natural environment for wild animals, mountains, Caribbean sea, Pacific ocean, waterfalls, hot springs, palms, exotic fruits, beautiful sunset, different micro climates, hurricane Otto class 2, tropical storms, care for nature, nice and friendly costa ricans...Respect! Awesome! Great!....PURA VIDA!

My experience in Costa Rica was thoroughly enriching. Learning about ecological processes firsthand in the forest and interacting with local communities gave conservation issues a personal context and reinforced the need for cooperative sustainable resource management. My experience with Sustainability Education CR, was wonderful!! It was so refreshing to have a guide that is intimately connected with the land and the problems it faces, and to see such good relationships between him and the Indigenous people on the Kekoldi Reserve, for example, was so lovely. Esteban is fun, knowledgeable, and an amazing man and friend. I really felt like the different sites we visited gave a comprehensive view of the environment and its use in Costa Rica from many different angles. I would absolutely go on another field course trip with this company!

Earlier this year my  Master of forest conservation class participated in a field trip in Costa Rica organised by Esteban Gutierrez (Sustainability Education CR). The focus of the trip was conservation and sustainable development. Over a two week period we were driven around the country in a comfortable air conditioned bus and stayed in a variety of locations in friendly well appointed accommodation, including a luxury hotel on our first night and an indigenous peoples' treetop lodge in the mountains. We were given the opportunity to experience the considerable conservation efforts currently being implemented in Costa Rica from sea turtle conservation to plantation restoration and watershed protection.The trip was flawlessly organised and our host Esteban's positive attitude and friendly demeanour made each moment special.Even though the trip was educational, Esteban made sure that we all had fun too !
