Day 1: Arrival to Costa Rica


Welcome to Costa Rica, the most biodiverse country in the world! Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting for you outside the airport. He will give you all the information you need for your stay in Costa Rica, and then he will take you to your hotel (approximately 20 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic).


Hotel Studio or similar (meals not included)

Day 2: Boca Tapada, San Carlos

After breakfast, you will receive your 4WD vehicle at your hotel. Once you have your vehicle, you will drive to one of the most spectacular places in Costa Rica, Maquenque Lodge. Here you will see flora and fauna native to Costa Rica.


Hotel Maquenque Lodge or similar (breakfast included)

Days 3 & 4: Boca Tapada, San Carlos

In this magical place, you can take a walk in the forest and appreciate the birds, trees, and many species of plants native to the area. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a romantic canoe ride on the lake around the hotel, where you will also see a variety of birds.


Hotel Maquenque Lodge or similar (breakfast included)

Day 5: Arenal Volcano National Park


Your adventure continues onwards to La Fortuna, one of the best places to enjoy the beauty of the majestic Arenal Volcano. In the town of La Fortuna, you can enjoy various activities. The area has a lot to offer and is considered by many to be one of the most spectacular places in Costa Rica. Travel time takes approximately 5 hours (depending on traffic).


Hotel Arenal Paraíso or similar (breakfast included)

Day 6: Arenal Volcano National Park

Today is a free day. In the beautiful area of La Fortuna, you can do optional activities. For example, you can hike to Arenal Volcano National Park, visit the hot springs (one of the biggest attractions in the area) and relax in the pools with different water temperatures, or visit the hanging bridges. Your options are endless.


Hotel Arenal Paraíso or similar (breakfast included)

Day 7: Manuel Antonio National Park

The trip continues today to Manuel Antonio National Park in the Central Pacific. Manuel Antonio is one of the most beautiful parks in Costa Rica. It is known for its beautiful white sand beaches, which are ideal for swimming, and is surrounded by rainforest for nature lovers.


Hotel Costa Verde or similar (breakfast included)

Days 8 & 9: Manuel Antonio National Park

For these two days, we recommend you do some optional activities (not included). You can walk through the national park, join a kayak, rafting, or canopy tour or go horseback riding. If you prefer, you can simply relax and enjoy the comforts of the hotel.


Hotel Costa Verde or similar (breakfast included)

Day 10: Return to San José

After your well-deserved vacation, you will return to the city of San José where you must return your rental vehicle before 4:00pm. The rest of the afternoon and evening is free for you to rest or visit the surrounding area.

Day 11: San José – See you soon!
A member of our team will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport.
