Day 1: Arrival to Costa Rica

Welcome to Costa Rica, the most biodiverse country in the world! Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting for you outside the airport. He will give you all the information you need for your stay in Costa Rica, and then he will take you to your hotel (approximately 20 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic).

Day 2: Arenal Volcano National Park

After breakfast, you will receive your 4WD vehicle at your hotel. Once you have your vehicle, you will drive to La Fortuna, one of the best places to enjoy the beauty of the majestic Arenal Volcano. In the town of La Fortuna, you can enjoy various activities. The area has a lot to offer and is considered by many to be one of the most spectacular places in Costa Rica. Travel time takes approximately 5 hours (depending on traffic).

Day 3: Arenal Volcano National Park

Today is a free day. In the beautiful area of La Fortuna, you can do optional activities. For example, you can hike to Arenal Volcano National Park or you can visit the hanging bridges. You can also relax in the hot springs of Ecotermales (included). The hot springs, which are small, heated pools of water, are included and arguably the biggest tourist attraction in the area. Your options here are endless.

Day 4: Monteverde Cloud Forest

Your next destination is the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Known for its natural beauty, Monteverde is the perfect place for nature lovers. The trip takes about 3-4 hours (depending on traffic). In the afternoon, you can relax at the hotel or you can visit the village and its surroundings.

Day 5: Monteverde Cloud Forest

Today you will enjoy the Aerial Tram and you can go on a canopy tour - an adrenaline-filled adventure where you glide along cables in the middle of the tropical forest (included). You can also do optional tour like the snake sanctuary or butterfly garden. Monteverde is one of the most important places in Costa Rica for bird watching.

Day 6: Guanacate, Tamarindo Beach

Today, after breakfast, you will continue your trip to Guanacaste, Playa Tamarindo in the North Pacific. Tamarindo is one of the most popular beaches in Costa Rica. Is perfect to do surf and stand up padding, and many other activities. Walk around the beach is safety and during the low tide and can also walk to Langosta beach.

Days 7 & 8: Guanacaste, Tamarindo Beach

Free days! We recommend you do some optional activities (not included) like horseback riding, sport fishing, canopy tour, diving, kayaking or just enjoy the pool and a walk on the beach which is 4 kilometers long.

Day 9: Return to San José

After your well-deserved vacation, you will return to the city of San José where you must return your rental vehicle before 4:00pm. The rest of the afternoon and evening is free for you to rest or visit the surrounding area.
